Sunday Communities
The best place to begin forming relationships with others at CABC is in our varied communities. Life-changing relationships with others and with God are key to what it really means to follow Jesus. Without life-giving relationships, we can't fully experience all that God offers us. There are Sunday Communities and Mid-Week Communities, please check what is best for your schedule. For more information, call (619) 582-7222 x296 or email spiritualdevelopment@cabc.org

MAY 25 − JUNE 22, 9:45 − 10:45 AM

Essentials
Facilitator: Bob Mooney
Location: Bethal Seminary 208
Contact: spiritualdevelopment@cabc.org

There are times when we all need to get back to the basics, and the Christian faith is no exception. This "Essentials" class will get back to the basics of Christianity and look at what we believe and why we believe it. It will be a safe place to ask questions about the Bible and Christianity. So if you're investigating Christianity, have recently started a relationship with Christ, or if you just want to have a quick refresher course on the Christian faith, "Essentials" is for you.

Military Unite
Facilitator: Varied
Location: Student Center
Contact: spiritualdevelopment@cabc.org

Military families are in unique circumstances. Meeting and supporting one another is critical. Knowing God is in control and that He speaks to us in our circumstances encourages greater trust in Him. This 5-week class provides an opportunity for military families to network with one another, receive input on relevant issues and hear stories of military families in our congregation. If you are in the military or have family or friends in the military, please join us.

June 1 − June 18, 9:45 -10:45 AM

In the Footsteps of Paul: An overview of his life and letters
Facilitator: Mark Strauss
Location: CEC 302
Contact: spiritualdevelopment@cabc.org

Almost half of the New Testament documents (13 of 27!) were written by one man − the Apostle Paul. Understanding who Paul was and what he accomplished is essential to understanding the history of early Christianity and the essence of Christian teaching. This class is a three-week "fly-over" − a summary of Paul's life, letters, and missionary journeys.
