This is a place for High School students (grades 9-12) to experience God through small groups, worship, and Bible study as well as a place to build community and invite friends who have questions about God. We have all kinds of activities for High School Students throughout the year that promise to meet the needs of every student, know matter where they’re at in their spiritual journeys. Our ministry to high school students is one of relationships and ministry programs designed to reach high school students with the love of Christ, then connect them with other Christians to help them grow in their faith and then challenge them to discover their own ministry area. Every event or program we have in the high school ministry will fall under one of those areas.

A Sunday morning service tailored to the needs and concerns of high school students. Join us in the newest building on the campus 6109 Adams Ave (southern most end of the campus toward El Cajon Blvd.) Each Sunday an average of 100 high school students gather together for worship, praise, hanging out, and above all, teaching from the word of God.

Volunteer Staff:
We have been blessed with a talented, experienced staff of young adults, couples and parents. Currently we have about 30 volunteers. They are the ones doing the real work of discipling and caring for the High School students on a weekly basis. Without the staff, this ministry would not exist!

Wednesday Nights
|
| Wednesday Nights are a time to build the Community here at College Avenue Baptist Church, and invite friends who wouldn't normally come to church. We have designed Wednesday nights with a coffee shop feel so that students can interact with each other listening to live music, drinking coffee and other assorted beverages, doing homework, sharing what's going on in their lives, or doing anything else that you would do at a coffee shop. We open the doors at 6:00 pm and we open the cafe at 7:00 pm and will stay open until about 8:30 pm. We average 90-100 students on Wednesday nights and all are welcome! |
