The College Group @ CABC (Co-ed)
The College Group is a great place to connect with God, build authentic relationships and be challenged to live a life committed to Christ. We meet Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Student Center in a coffee house environment with a band and speaker. We have Bible studies throughout the week, mission trips, retreats, outreach to our community, and party events throughout the year. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, the College Group has a place for you.
For more information, contact Charlie Ruce (619) 582-7222 x357 or email charlie

Service Opportunities (co-ed)
|
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10
The Bible seems to never conceive of anyone coming to faith in Jesus Christ apart from becoming consistently connected with a local church and then finding a place of service within it. Every Christian has unique talents, abilities, and spiritual gifts and is vital to the proper functioning of the church. There are no spares or extras. Here are three specific ministry teams that we are presently building:
First Impressions Team
- Traffic - direct traffic flow and assist guests
- Ushers/Greeters - greet guests, provide assistance
- Guest Services - welcome and provide information for guests
- Cabanas/Courtyard - create a warm and inviting environment
- Cafe Team - provide drinks and refreshments
- Aesthetics/Directions - provide clear and fun signage
- First Impressions Coach - recruit, motivate, and manage this team
Graphic Design and Arts Team
- Graphic Design - design brochures and programs
- Graphic Artists - create posters and banners
- Graphic Design and Arts Coach - recruit, motivate, and manage this team
Office and Administration Team
- Software Specialist - experience and knowledge with Microsoft, Adobe, or Media Shout programs
- Writer - gifted with words and written communication
- Copy Editor - gifted with proof and correction editing
- Administration - gifted with managing projects and meeting deadlines
If you are interested in any of the specific opportunities for service mentioned above, please express your interest by responding to us at volunteer@cabc.org (even if you completed an interest card at the tailgate party). Your response now will expedite our recruiting.
