The World Missionary Fellowship (W.M.F.) is a monthly meeting where friends get to know our missionaries and offer support and encouragement. Join us for this informative time, and then stay for lunch!

Mexico

Baja California Outreach
For the past several summers the middle school department has been making a week long trip to Ensendada, Mexico. This trip is designed for middle schoolers who desire a greater challenge. Student teams will be provided evangelistic opportunities as well as outreach contacts through networking with various local Christian ministries and Churches. Each student participates on a small ministry team as a part of the larger mission team. Ministry teams include, VBS/Art & Crafts, clowns, drama, puppets, sports, and construction. Each team uses a variety of creative methods to present the gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry opportunity has expanded into also providing backpacks filled with school supplies and baby supplies for the kids and moms in the villages that they visit. |

Currently we are focusing on ministries that go hand in hand with what we are doing overseas. We are building our focus around: education, community development, feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, and taking care of orphans.

Tender Loving Care (TLC) meets to make items that missionaries have ordered and desperatley need. Join us for fun crafts each month that help missionaries in the field. Crafts for Missions meets at Anne Butter's home on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. This is a small group environment where women gather together to make various craft projects for missionaries. TLC meets the fourth Tuesday of the month in Bethel Hall at 9:00 am.
Church Planting
We are assisting in planting church stateside and abroad. We are planting churches locally in San Diego and in the "other 49" as well as in the Phillippines, Tijuana, France, Mexico, and Thailand. Please contact us for possible ways you can help.

Malawi
|
Since 1995, we have been active in Malawi, Africa. It began with a trip, led by Pastors Chuck Price and Jerry Nelson, which focused on basketball and music ministry. Since then we have sent out various short-term teams to learn the culture and encourage people through teen Bible studies, medical attention, construction, etc.
In March of 2004 we sent an evangelism team, which included a soccer team, a Christian rock band, and a support team of more than 35 people.
We also recruit and send off school teachers for African Bible College Christian Academy (Pre-K through 11th grade, soon to expand to include 12th grade). ABCCA is an international school located in Lilongwe, Malawi, comprised of students from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. ABCCA is currently looking for teachers to serve this Spring 2008 and/or Fall 2008. Contact the World Outreach office to find out more information.
